Russia Delays Launch Of IoT Satellite

According to the TASS state news agency, Russia’s space corporation, Roscosmos, announced on Friday that the launch of its inaugural Internet of Things “Marathon” satellite has been postponed.

This delay is attributed to the necessity for extra software verifications and further refinement of supplementary research programs, reported news agency Reuters. Roscosmos stated, “The launch of the initial Marathon-IoT demonstration spacecraft has been deferred to allow for additional software inspections and the refinement of additional research agendas.”
