MediaTek unveiled the T300 platform at Mobile World Congress 2024, designed for IoT applications. It features a more efficient 5G modem and integrates an 800MHz CPU for high responsiveness.
The platform reduces power consumption by up to 60% compared to LTE and 70% compared to existing 5G solutions, making it suitable for large-scale IoT deployments. MediaTek has also partnered with infrastructure and operator partners for VoNR calls and data transmissions using the T300.
The platform integrates a 5G modem with various energy efficiency enhancements and an 800 MHz CPU, ensuring high responsiveness and bringing the advantages of 5G to power-constrained devices.
