Of late, advisory agency Gartner has been releasing its annual ‘Cool Vendor’ lists for 2014, which is essentially a list of vendors who, according to the ratings agency, offer innovative and impactful technology.
There’s such a “cool” list for the Internet of Things (IoT) and also for smart city applications.

The Gartner report analysed innovative approaches to managing IoT applications and solutions.
Meanwhile, welcoming the announcement, Arkessa in a statement said this was testimony to its commitment to continual innovation in IoT. The company provides M2M and IoT products and services to enable devices to be connected, to communicate and to be managed.
Also welcoming the announcement was Cloud-based IoT infrastructure company SensorSuite.
