Irish IoT company Davra Networks to use funding for creating jobs

The Irish Times reports that the Internet of Things (IoT) company Davra Networks is planning to create more jobs next year after securing an investment of €1.5 million.

The funding comes from the AIB Seed Capital Fund (managed by Dublin BIC), Delta Partners and Investec Ventures, and will be used to bolster Davra’s R&D operations and hire staff in front-end development and tech support. Of the 20 jobs likely to be created, 15 will be in Ireland, and the rest overseas. The Dublin-based company plans operations in Germany, Dubai, South America and Australia.

Davra Networks is currently working with prospective customers in 43 countries right around the globe.

About two months ago, Davra Networks had announced a partnership with Ping Network Solutions, one of Scotland’s leading providers of IoT and automation technology solutions to the Transportation and Oil & Gas Industry.
