US IoT services company wot.io showcases two solutions at IoT fair

new IoT servicesThe New York, US-based company wot.io, which offers a data service exchange for the Internet of Things (IoT), recently demonstrated two of its services at the NYC Internet of Things Fair to showcase how businesses can accelerate time to market of industrial IoT appliances through wot.io’s growing partner ecosystem.

The first was an Intelligent Product Solutions (IPS) connected device solution on the wot.io data service exchange using the Kinoma Create development platform. IPS is a leading product development organisation creating IoT solutions including hardware, application level software and firmware development. Kinoma Create is a platform for prototyping connected devices that offers professional developers a clear path to mass product.

“The wot.io operating environment is an ideal tool to harness the value of the Internet of Things. We are able to get applications up and running very quickly and then experiment with various data services to choose the right ones for production. Combining development capabilities with wot.io’s data service exchange equips us to quickly develop solutions for our industrial, commercial, health services and consumer product customers, enabling them to benefit from their IoT data,” said Mitch Maiman, Chef Executive Officer of Intelligent Product Solutions, in a written statement.

The second service that was shown was the real time analytics and data monitoring with DataArt’s Device Hive device management platform, elastic search data service and data from the Intel Edison connected device.

Incidentally, wot.io will be showcasing partners for rapid time-to-market of connected industrial and consumer appliance applications during the 2015 International CES from January 6-9, 2015.
