An Indian startup Internet of Things (IoT) startup SenRa has tiedup a US based IoT firm myDevices to launch a suite of IoT solutions to be used for industrial purposes.
‘IoT In A Box’ will provide end-to-end commercial refrigeration monitoring solutions in the first phase. Over time, it will introduce other similar solution to be used by various industry verticals.
SenRA said there were over 90 million commercial refrigeration units in operation around the world and the global demand for commercial refrigeration equipment was expected to increase 4.5% each year through 2020. The firm believes the collaboration between the two companies will help drive India’s digital movement into industries yet to be penetrated in the Indian market.
The IoT in a Box commercial refrigeration temperature monitoring offering will now drive IoT adoption into industries such as retail, supply-chain management, logistics, healthcare, and even hospitality.
