Twisthink signs multi-year strategic agreement with AWS

Twisthink, a Michigan-based tech and design firm, has entered into a ‘Strategic Collaboration Agreement’ (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to help companies “accelerate the development of customised Internet of Things (IoT) solutions across various markets, including: industrial, healthcare, consumer, and agricultural.”

Twisthink helps customers make decisions by leveraging human-centered design. By utilising a methodical process to understand the root of the problem being solved, Twisthink defines what deserves to be built and then provides the team to build it. This collaboration will enhance the combination of Twisthink’s design and technology competencies and AWS’s deep bench of Edge and Cloud expertise and services to bring customers a world class team to build their next connected solution, said the company in an announcement.

In addition, Twisthink and AWS’s goal is to reduce time to deployment for new IoT solutions by up to half the time. Through Twisthink Auris, customers can leverage a production ready set of IoT sensor hardware, firmware, and AWS edge-to-cloud services such as FreeRTOS and AWS IoT Core. The Auris platform contains all of the core elements fundamental to IoT products including security, OTA, edge computer, communications, and cloud analytics through machine learning.  Twisthink will use Auris and its canvas of capabilities to configure a solution that is customer-specific for their use-cases, allowing for full client autonomy and a path to a successful IoT product launch in half the traditional development time.
