Tech co Mindteck joins the Intel IoT solutions alliance

mindteckBengaluru, India, Mar. 11, 2016: Mindteck, a global technology company, announced it had entered into an alliance with Intel that will provide them with scalable, interoperable solutions to accelerate the deployment of intelligent devices and end-to-end analytics.

Mindteck (India) Limited provides product engineering solutions and Information Technology services to top-tier Fortune 50-1,000 companies, startups, universities and government entities worldwide.

The Indian company said in a press release that the collaboration with Intel and other members would enable it to innovate with the latest Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and deliver “faster, reliable and ready-to-deploy solutions.” Other benefits included leading-edge solutions, faster time-to-market and design and development expertise.

This alliance would provide Mindteck with a market advantage through a solution-centered ecosystem program based on Intel architecture, the former claimed. By aligning with Intel and using standards-based, modular building blocks, Mindteck would be providing their customers with more robust performance, faster time-to-profit,greater opportunity for innovation, easier software development, and a trusted supply line.

Mindteck had an Ignite platform encompassing an Intelligent Lighting System (Ignite-ILS) and Energy Management System (Ignite-EMS). The platform was one of the key components of the IoT ecosystem. This technology had been deployed on large-scale buildings and city-wide intelligent street lighting projects.

Yusuf Lanewala, Mindteck Chairman and Managing Director, commented, “Mindteck has been at the forefront of IoT paradigm. In 2010, we implemented a project for a UK-based utility company, and since then, have delivered a host of solutions using IoT technology. We have also developed our own set of IoT-based IPs. This alliance only proves our commitment to the IoT space.”
