Sigfox 0G network launched in Ukraine

Paris, France, Jan. 11, 2021: Sigfox, the global 0G network and Cloud provider for industrial data, in partnership with local company Utilix.one has launched its network for the Internet of Things (IoT) in Ukraine.

Sigfox said in a press release that the newly formed Sigfox Ukraine will create a nationwide 0G network, covering 85 per cent of the population, large industrial sites and logistic hubs. It will help millions of sensors, metering and other devices to “connect,” through low-power, simple and inexpensive radio modules.

The Sigfox 0G network will help customers create more effective and efficient business processes. Decision making can be done faster and with more accuracy. Furthermore, corporations that operate internationally will be able to seamlessly use and benefit from Sigfox’s network securely across 70+ countries and regions without expensive and complicated roaming systems, claimed Sigfox.

“Ukraine is the third largest supplier of agricultural products into European Communities and the second largest supplier of eco products. With the launch of the Sigfox 0G network in Ukraine we enable end to end supply chain & logistics visibility across Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, France and many other European countries with a Sigfox network. This strengthens the value of Sigfox services for our multinational customers and improves Sigfox position as the global IoT service provider”, said Glen Robinson, SVP Global Sales & Marketing at Sigfox in a written statement.
