Greensboro-based Mack Trucks has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Samsara, a global company in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions designed to increase the efficiency, safety and sustainability of commercial fleets and industrial operations.
Together, Samsara and Volvo Trucks and Mack Trucks will:
- Build a partnership to develop innovative solutions for shared customers.
- Improve fleet efficiency and the driver experience by integrating Volvo Trucks and Mack Trucks telematics data into Samsara’s platform.
This MOU marks the beginning of a partnership between Samsara and Volvo Trucks and Mack Trucks, Samara said in a blog post.
