Riding high on investment, Launchmetrics plans to leverage Industry

Launchmetrics has closed a US $50 million investment from Bpifrance, Seventure, Cipio Partners and Famille C (Famille Courtin-Clarins), Michael Jaïs, CEO of Launchmetrics, announced today on his blog.

With this venture capital, the company plans to scale the business and further invest in the development of cutting-edge data technologies, the blog stated. This will help provide the industry with tools & analytics and transform the way it works today. The blog listed some of their upcoming projects including those visual recognition algorithms to automatically tag brands, products and people from images created or shared by influencers, which are being developed by Launchmetric’s team of Data scientists.

Technology like this will allow customers to analyze the media impact value created directly from this user generated content across the web and social media.”

Moreover, the company plans to use the additional financing to continue expanding global reach, accelerate product growth and innovation, as well as additional sales & marketing resources.

The investment, it said, will help them leverage the industry with the right tools & data, even as it continues to shift from the effects of influencer marketing and digital technology. The aim being to make it ready for these changes.
It also announced that they are hiring new employees interested in connecting industry through technology.

In addition to this, the company has refurbished its current Website, the blog said. Launchmetrics.com now comes with a sleek, minimalist look to help users understand all of the changes happening. It will also provide an insight into how different modules are helping companies and influencers across the fashion, luxury and cosmetic industries.
