New data driven farming solution launched

An agricultural data and analytics company Arable Labs has launched a suite of irrigation solutions that deliver in-field weather and plant measurements to players in the crop supply chain.

At the heart of it is the Mark 2, an IoT-enabled device that collects and synthesizes weather and plant data to facilitate informed decision-making. Data is transmitted cellularly via LTE-M, 2G or NB-IoT to the Cloud and delivered to an analytics platform.

Designed in partnership with product designer Fred Bould, the Mark is solar-powered, installs in minutes.

The new solution helps:

  • Get scientific-quality readings across locations
  • Monitor to synthesize both climate and plant measurements
  • Configure and integrate weather and crop data for your business
  • Get customised weather forecasts for your field, not your county
  • Get updating forecast that connects weather model output to in-field observations
