Microsoft has announced its Azure IoT Developer Speciality training course was now available for free for developers who wanted to become Internet of Things (IoT) professionals.
The new course was announced during the Microsoft Build conference. Microsoft had introduced the platform in beta in the month of January.
This new course will allow the developer to work with data engineers and other stakeholders in order to provide business solutions right from the setup of the IoT device till the end of its life cycle including maintenance, said Microsoft.
A candidate for this certification should have experience implementing the Azure services that form an IoT solution, including data storage options, data analysis, data processing, and platform-as-a-service options. This role should also be able to recognize Azure IoT service configuration settings within the code portion of an IoT solution and perform specific IoT coding tasks in at least one Azure-supported language, including C#, Node, C, or Python.
