Global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company which recently opened up in Taiwan, is all set to see the size there tripling by year-end, according to reports.
Mid-December McKinsey had opened its North Asia Industrial IoT Hub in Taipei. Taiwan was selected as a base for the North Asian IIoT hub because of many reasons, including the availability of qualified tech talent.According to McKinsey, its IIoT staffers will work together with local and regional companies to support end-to-end digital evolutions across the entire operations value-chain.
The opening up of the hub has been dubbed “significant” by IoT experts, and is expected to drive digital transformation across the region.
To head the Taiwan office, McKinsey has hired or transferred people, including eight senior managers.
