Israeli teleco Bezeq launches Internet of Things incubator

Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. has announced that it was launching a technology incubator for Internet of Things (IoT) developers, in cooperation with Hisense, Tel Aviv University, and the Vertical Engine accelerator.

The company said it would conduct jointly with Hisense an intensive three-month program for startups dealing in ventures in smart devices and the IoT.

The program will provide the selected teams with an opportunity to work with the best minds in the industry and universities in Israel, in addition to access to advanced technologies and experts from Bezeq and Hisense, who will help the teams taking part bring the products they are developing to fruition.

Incidentally, Bezeq recently had launched a smart home camera with a number of features, including a camera that can be used to view what is a happening at home on a smartphone.
