Israeli company takes on Raspberry Pi with single board computers

SolidRun, an Israel-based company, recently introduced new CoMs (Computer on Module) solutions based on the powerful NXP’s i.MX 8M Plus applications’ processor. This is the newer version of the applications processor in Google’s Coral-branded single-board computers.

SolidRun’s new boards have been launched to compete with both Google & Raspberry Pi’s machines, & pack a host of powerful features aimed at developers interested in creating both simple & advanced AI (artificial intelligence) & ML (machine learning) applications.
