Ireland’s first IoT hackathon

Irish inventors, designers, creators and engineers can take part in Ireland’s first hardware hackathon for the Internet of Things (IoT).

irishhackathonFocused on this emerging sector, the two-day hackathon will take place from September 12 this year at the DCU Innovation Campus. Anybody interested in developing ideas into physical objects, especially if they are connected, irrespective of whether they are into hardware of software, can take part. he early bird ticket costs €40 and will stay this price until the end of August. The organisers will be providing Raspberry Pi’s, I, Intel Galileo boards, 3D Printers, a CNC Machine, soldering irons, and other tools of the trade. Participants may bring their own hardware if they want to. Here are more details.
