IQP Corp. and IBM Japan to collaborate on IoT

Tokyo, Nov 23, 2015:  Japanese company IQP Corporation has announced a collaboration with IBM Japan on their respective Internet of Things (IOT), Cloud and server solutions.

The IQP system supports rapid, code-free enterprise-wide IoT application development, enabling IoT initiatives to be implemented and deliver “demonstrated ROI”. This alliance is expected to extend IQP’s market penetration in Japan, so also in worldwide markets.

In a written statment, Guy Kaplinsky, President of IQP Japan Corporation, said, “This collaboration with IBM will further strengthen IQP’s ability to support enterprise application development. We are collaborating with IBM on the inter-operability of the IQP solution with IBM’s Bluemix and Softlayer cloud services and solutions.”

Earlier, in January this year, IQP had been selected to participate in IBM’s partner program, the ‘Alpha Zone Accelerator’. The program for startups provides technical and strategic mentoring that will assist IQP to expand its presence in the IBM global market.

IQP demonstrated its IoT solution at two IBM industry events in the United States – IBM Insight 2015, which was held in October in Las Vegas, and again in November at the IBM Internet of Things conference in Virginia.

The IQP System makes it simple for brands, manufacturers, telecom operators, system integrators, public service providers and other organizations to develop a sustainable business model for the IoT and business application markets. Users can quickly develop applications without any knowledge in programming code. It also enables companies to create their own app market and allows third parties to develop applications for an ecosystem that generates profits from IoT applications.
