Inmarsat and FreeWave Technologies join forces to deliver mission-critical IoT solutions

This strategic partnership will empower FreeWave to offer Inmarsat’s IDP two-way, real-time, non-IP messaging service to its customers. By leveraging Inmarsat’s ELERA geostationary L-band satellite network, renowned for its reliability and robust security, FreeWave can provide reliable connectivity solutions across various industries, including agriculture, oil and gas, utilities, and environmental tracking.

The agreement brings a cost-effective and scalable solution to connect mission-critical assets in remote locations where terrestrial connectivity is limited or nonexistent.

Inmarsat’s bi-directional IsatData Pro service is uniquely tailored to the specific needs of FreeWave’s customers, enabling satellite connectivity for a wide range of applications.
