L&T Technology Services, part of the L&T conglomerate and IT networking vendor Cisco have announced an Internet of Everything (IoE) partnership for transportation and other industry verticals.
As part of the deal, both companies are expected to make joint contributions to a Global Solution Centre bsed in Bangalore, India, to showcase connectivity and convergence based solutions.
The Centre housed within the L&T Technology Services and will focus on technical and business considerations of connected transportation as well as ways to make Rails and mass transit more productive, intelligent and safe.
The collaboration also includes networked mobility for connected stations and connected railway infrastructure; smart video surveillance systems with edge analytics for securing stations and rail cars; and complete railway infrastructure.
