The Hush wireless earplugs blocks out all such noise, but wait, it does even more. These are more than earplugs; you may even call them earphones, too. For, it plays your morning alarm only in your ears without disturbing others around you, it also plays soothing music to help you fall asleep, among other things. You need to download the associated app, available for both, Android & iOS users, to fine tune the settings.
Hush is raising US $100,000 on crowdfunding platform, Kickstarter, & the team has already raised about $400,000.
So how does it work:
2 of the most popular methods of dealing with noise disturbances when you’re trying to sleep are earplugs & sound machines. But we all know that earplugs have physical limitations in blocking out sound because even when your canal is completely sealed off, sound still gets through to the eardrum by conducting through your bones. Similarly, sound machines are limited in how much sound they can mask as they can only be played so loudly until they become a deterrent to sleep themselves.
here are also special settings to make sure the user wakes up in an emergency situation, so certain contacts can be programmed to either be ignored or to always be notified.
The Hush earplugs come with a carry-case that doubles as a charging dock. This contains its own batteries that are topped up from a wall socket & can then provide up to 7 full charges to the earplugs even if it is not plugged in. An extra USB outlet port has been included on the charging case for juicing up phones on the go.
