Shanghai, Jan. 29, 2018: Here’s an “alternate” to the challenges that present-day standard architecture of Internet of Things (IoT) systems pose.

The Cyber-Physical Chain (CPChain) claims to be the first decentralised infrastructure of the next-generation IoT, leading to the formation of a trusted and new distribution IoT systems. According to its developers, the platform has been given enhanced scalability and security, tackling real time issues faced by blockchain, and providing comprehensive solutions for data collection, sharing and application in the IoT industry.

The ecosystem is enabled for multi-party data transactions and IoT-big-data-based Artificial Intelligence (AI) decision-making applications.

CPChain claims to be a solution to a series of challenges of current “chimney architecture” of IoT systems, reducing connectivity cost of devices, protecting data privacy and maximizing the value of IoT data. An open sharing data infrastructure for general large-scale IoTs, which provides security and incentive mechanisms for data sharing and application, using real time data flow, CPChain claims to boosts the intrinsic value of the digital economy and greatly improves the efficiency and intelligence of the industry system, so as to achieve the deep integration and value transmission between cyber system and physical system.

The core feature of the CPChain is to realise the transmission of the value of cyber-physical systems. The main technology contribution is to propose a systematic scheme to address the scalability and real-time problems of blockchain technology in IoTs from the perspective of data storage and computation, and consensus protocols, including parallel distributed architecture, two-layer hybrid consensus mechanism.
