H-FARM launches IoT accelerator

hfarmiotfundInnovation platform for entrepreneurs H-FARM has announced an Internet of Things (IoT) accelerator.

Launched in “cooperation with Deutsche Bank”, H-FARM is looking for early stage startups operating in the IoT and FinTech sectors.

An announcement on the Website said: The main business areas of interest include FinIoT Solutions such as Collateral Management, Inventory and Equipment Financing, Import/Export Finance, Digital Identity Management, etc. through IoT for two categories of Clients:

The 5 selected startups will join a 4-month program at the H-FARM Campus (Venice, Italy) and have access to resources from H-FARM, Deutsche Bank and opportunities for business development, pilots, and partnerships with other industry partners and their networks.

Mentorships & Workshops

Startups will have the possibility to attend workshops held by experts covering key themes: Business Strategy & Development, Communication & Marketing, Coding & Dev, UX & Design, Legal and Fundraising.

Seed Investment and Demo Day

Teams receive €20.000 in cash from H-FARM to cover the first costs with a possibility for further investment from Deutsche Bank, H-FARM, the industry partners and their network. At the end of the program the 5 teams will be invited to present at a Demo Day, where each startup will have the opportunity to pitch its project to an audience composed by the network of all the players involved in the project. Interested startups can apply till September 4, 2016. The Program will kick-off on October.
