Legrand EliotHaving made sales of over €200 million with connectable devices last year, French company Legrand said it was now convinced that the IoT was opening up a “new era” for buildings. So, it had decided to launch ‘Eliot’, a program designed to speed up the deployment of its connected devices offerings, thereby facilitating the emergence of connected buildings wherever IoT could enhance use value for all users.

Eliot involved providing electrical and digital infrastructure solutions for all types of buildings to help simplify everyday life. These solutions cover areas as varied as:
– consolidation of digital infrastructures with dedicated offerings for datacenters
– telecare to facilitate the lives of people with diminished independence, both at home and in healthcare institutions

– connected emergency lighting to facilitate maintenance operations
– video door entry phones proposing services, both in group housing and individual homes
– the connected home, with solutions that are easy to install and which enable control of an electrical installation via Tablet or smartphone
