‘COT’, software that allows you to talk with your home appliances

Barcelona, Feb. 28, 2018: Botpartner, one of the Taiwanese companies awarded in Taiwan Excellence, has presented ‘COT’, its new software to control smart homes via voice.

The startup, supported by bureau Française de Taipei, presented its product in the Taiwan Excellence Presentation, hosted by Taitra (Taiwan external trade development Council) during Mobile World Congress 2018.

Botpartner uses the latest AI technology to improve chatbots to control the home appliances without the need to download different apps. One chatbot can satisfy all the needs.

The voice input is the start of Botpartner’s ‘CoT’, using text and voice to control distant internet connected smart home by 3 steps: Order by voice or text, automatic speech recognition which can recognize 4 languages (Chinese, English, French and Spanish), and a multi-tasking cloud.


Hardware and software are important in chatbots, especially with the AI development, but emotion and appearance are more attractive to customers.

Looking for the investors to enter into European market

The aging population is the worldwide problem. To satisfy the need of attendance and improve the life quality of the elderly, Botpartner have developed the connected wearable ‘Mypassion’, a device that uses sensors to send alerts if the elderly has fallen. The system will inform the nearby hospital and relatives instantly to increase the rate of surviving. Different other connected production, the signal can reach nearly everywhere with the help of Sigfox and Lora.
