Washington, March 29, 2016: Bsquare announced that it was working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to deliver robust, scalable Internet of Things (IoT) solutions to business and industrial customers.
As a member of the AWS Partner Network (APN), Bsquare was now offering DataV, a complete IoT software stack, powered by AWS IoT. This collaboration allowed Bsquare to deliver comprehensive, business-driven IoT solutions on the AWS Cloud.
DataV was a complete IoT software stack that businesses could deploy to connect remote devices, monitor data streams, automate corrective processes, predict adverse conditions before they occured, and, ultimately, optimised the performance of business-critical assets and processes, said the company. DataV can operate within on-premises environments, hybrid infrastructures and clouds like AWS. Bsquare was also offering DataV IoT Services, a comprehensive set of systems integration and application development services for IoT implementations.

Bsquare’s DataV had successfully concluded use case specific proofs-of-concept (PoCs) with multiple customers across disparate industrial sectors, said the company. These PoCs, often precursors to full commercial deployment, helped confirm the viability of IoT use cases in industrial environments. Bsquare DataV provided customers with a complete solution that included device connectivity, real time data monitoring and automation, and holistic multi-domain analytics, enabling business use cases such as predictive reasoning and device/process optimisation.
