Bharti Airtel has partnered with Matter Motor Works to integrate its Internet of Things (IoT) solution in Matter AERA, India’s first and only geared electric motorbike.
Airtel will provide advanced automotive-grade eSIMs on all Matter AERA bikes, aiming to equip 60,000 bikes with the technology in the initial phase. The IoT platform, Airtel IoT Hub, will be integrated into the bikes, allowing real-time tracking, performance monitoring, and advanced analytics to ensure optimal efficiency and high reliability. Matter Motor Works is aiming to manufacture more than 300,000 electric motorbikes within the next three years.
