Amazon acquires US-based IoT platform 2lemetry

2lemetryHere’s Amazon’s forward movement on the Internet of Things (IoT). It has acquired Denver, USA-based startup 2lemetry. Terms of the deal were not revealed, though.

The latter has put up the announcement of the acquisition development on its Website. 2lemetry is an IoT platform and technology company that powers the connected enterprise, tying people, processes, data and devices together—transforming raw data into real-time actionable intelligence. “Our existing service has not changed, and with Amazon we will offer our same customer support. We still have the same name and branding as before”, said the Website.

2lemetry claims to be the “only proven IoT platform that can interact with any system — offering customers fully customizable solutions.” The 2lemetry platform is truly protocol and hardware agnostic, working seamlessly with any system — including legacy systems. This remarkable flexibility makes the 2lemetry IoT platform one of a kind.

Its core technology acts as an IoT version of Enterprise Application Integration middleware solutions, providing device connectivity at scale, cross-communication, data brokering and storage. 2lemetry also helps companies “make sense” of the captured data by offering actionable data intelligence through predictive computational models and a configurable rules engine.
