Software company Nuance Communications, known so far for the Dragon dictation app, has announced ‘Nuance Mix’, which will allow developers to add language detection and voice control to their own apps, in addition to smart home and Internet of Things (IoT)-connected devices.
Nuance Mix is launching today in beta. It is designed to be simple for developers to implement into their apps, with the only main requirement being that they specify the types of commands that users will make, and what the corresponding actions should be.
Nuance isn’t disclosing pricing yet, and many expect it to be revealed at the time of the official release.
