Qualcomm and Infinite join hands on IoTaaS

San Diego, Jan 24, 2020: Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. and Infinite Computer Solutions, provider of products and platforms for digital transformation, have come together “to promote the widespread adoption of smart cities solutions and deliver Internet of Things as a Service (IoTaaS) for plug and play deployment.”

According to a press release, the collaboration seeks to create an end-to-end, fully managed solution that facilitates digital transformation for smart connected spaces across government, healthcare, construction, entertainment, transportation, manufacturing, retail and logistics. The IoTaaS offering aims to connect companies in the Qualcomm Smart Cities Accelerator Program using Infinite’s intelligent engagement platform – ZyterSmartSpaces – to enable a streamlined, full suite of offerings that address the complexities around developing secure, smart, connected spaces across vertical industries, worldwide.

The Qualcomm Smart Cities Accelerator Program, launched in 2019 as part of the Qualcomm Advantage Network, is designed to connect cities, municipalities, government agencies, and enterprises with an ecosystem of providers to help deliver greater efficiencies, cost savings, safety and sustainability.

As part of its collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, Infinite will further the advancement of smart connected spaces by leveraging its expertise in platforms that support digital transformation, security, user experience, analytics, collective intelligence and artificial intelligence (AI). Infinite brings its Zyter SmartSpaces innovation-driven software and integration platform to further the Qualcomm Smart Cities Accelerator Program mission by fostering the rapid development, deployment and lower cost of maintenance of smart cities.

The end-to-end digital solution platform addresses the key challenges of developing smart cities, smart enterprises, and makes IoTaaS a commercial reality by leveraging Qualcomm Technologies’ full suite of technologies to enable sensor devices supporting edge computing and intelligence, data management systems, hardware-based security, AI/ML applications, and the latest connectivity technologies with a path to 5G proliferation, along with a complete dashboard with central control and a command management system with the flexibility to meet businesses’ and governments’ customized needs.
